Frequently Asked Questions

How much does sign restoration typically cost?

Every project is unique, so we provide custom estimates after an on-site assessment. However, most sign restorations cost 40-60% less than full sign replacement. During our free assessment, we'll give you an honest evaluation of whether restoration makes financial sense for your specific sign.

How long does a typical restoration project take?

Most monument sign restorations are completed within 1-2 weeks. Smaller projects like cleaning or lighting upgrades may take just a day or two. We'll provide a clear timeline in our estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you handle sign permits and code compliance?

Yes. When restoration work requires permits or needs to meet current sign code requirements, we handle all the paperwork and coordination with local municipalities. We're familiar with the sign codes in Omaha, Lincoln, Papillion, Bellevue, and surrounding communities.

Can you add lighting to a sign that was never lit?

Absolutely. One of our most popular upgrades is converting non-illuminated monument signs into LED-illuminated signs. This involves installing internal LED systems with new aluminum faces and push-thru acrylic lettering. The transformation is dramatic — and far more affordable than replacing the sign entirely.

What if my sign can't be restored?

We'll tell you honestly. If we determine during our free assessment that your sign's structure is too far gone to make restoration a wise investment, we'll say so. We're not in the business of selling you work that doesn't make sense. In those cases, we can refer you to reputable full-service sign companies for replacement options.
